172 cup vs 172 cup with air con weight's

Me and my good mate popped along to a local weigh bridge to see what the differences were.

We both had similar fuel loads (Around 10 litres) and nothing in the car, everything standard.

His without air con was 1020kg

Mine with air con was 1040kg

So theres 20kg somewhere or another enclosed in that air con package.

Both weights are without drivers and 10 litres of fuel on board

Thats minimal then. In a road car, I'd rather have the extras over abit of weight-saving IMO

Track car, its a no brainer.
