172 Cup - Washed ,Polished, Protected. (56k go to hell!)

I've neglected my car over the past couple of weeks while I've been concentrating on Uni work. Well, I finally got it out the way and today is a great day so it's had the works (or at least my version of the works).

Another shot of the mats ^ hehe, couldn't resist.

Products used:

Autoglym Shampoo
Autoglym Intensive Tar remover (Good stuff)
Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection

I clayed it about a month ago too. The paintwork feels like glass now, it's beautiful. Comments?

Aircon...and uprated stereo?! That's not a Cup

Looking real nice though. Wish my justmatz were still like that, 12 months of use has not been too kind.

It was offered for a while, around the time the Silver one came out (Summer 2003?)

Some have 3 legal rear seats instead of the usual 2 as well, not sure how that came about.

Nah, it was an option on the later ones.

ukaskew: I've had that radio for over 3yrs, used to have it in my Ka. Doesn't look too good in the Cup, it's the wrong colour really but it'll do, plays MP3s, I'm happy.

Mine are kerbed mate, make no mistake. I think the only one that isn't it the one I photo'd. The front near side is abliterated. I will probably get them refurbed sometime in the future.

And after all that I've just gone and found some AutoGlym vinyl and rubber care in my room.

lol, I think we've established that. Speaking of which, I tried that AutoGlym tyre and vinyl stuff this morning and it's sh*t. I've used better products in the past, but ran out.

Bang on...used this stuff for the first time at t'weekend and their still shiney now, 200 odd miles later thru wind, rain and sun!

Yer I was, those mats are wicked, shame I won't get to use them! But they are going to someone else on here so that's a good thing.

Shame the car won't be staying in the club.

I just had a change of heart, I was going to go all out on the clio, H&Rs etc (spoke to Fred about this, was very helpful) but thought well I'm getting itchy feet, so best change the car now before spending loads on modding, etc.

Will be sorry to see her go, still I have two more days of fun with her :star:

Yep they painted the side-strips in matt blue as standard. Try getting an effing paint code for it from Renault though, they don't believe anything but Mondial Blue is used on the Cup!
