172 idle need help (urgently)

Hey guys, after some help! ive just got my car back from having the head re tapped for the plugs and have been driving it around fine for about 30 miles or so, on the way home from work it just started idling at 5k revs if you turn the car off and back on it still does it, ive whipped the air filter off to see what the throttle boddie does and that stays closed while the cars reving its nuts off :/

ive had the inlet off again to check the gaskets all seem okay, i Havant got the gasket at the back the oval looking 1, ive used instant sealant not sure if that could be the issue?

not sure what else to check, not eml or codes showing up

any help much appreciated

You have answered your own question... sealer in a seal location that is the issue

Thanks mate, sorted it I've used body panel sealing sealing strip and that's fixed the issue, I'll order a new gasket tomorrow if I can find a part number?

how much pressure is in that chamber then for it to idle at 7k

Atmospheric pressure @7k. On idle it's around 400mBar.
