172 radio issue driving me insane!!

I cant find a way to manually tune the radio. I press the tuner button till i get to the manual setting and when i try to tune it just keeps searching!!
I just want to be able to use the LR arrows to search without it running away!!

any ideas?

dont u press mode and it says list, preset and then manual?

just keeps searching. might change the arial....
