172 Rear Brakes HELP

Hi,

I changed the rear brakes on my 172 the other day. I screwed the piston back and fitted the new pad ensuring the pin was in one of the grooves. When the hand brake is applied the car still rolls. Also the when braking you can feel the front brakes biting more then before the pads were changed.

Can somebody please help.

Thanks

H

just above the centre section exhaust there is a heat sheild held on by 30torx screws. remove this and there is a threaded bar with the cables attached to a bracket. you wind in the 13m nut to adjust it up. have a look and you will see what i mean.
