172 vs 182 wheels ?

I currently have standard colour 182 wheels on my liquid yellow 182 but fancy going abit darker, seriously considering getting 172 wheels instead and doing them dark grey as I think the contrast would be nice and I've not seen 172 wheels on a LY before. Just wondered what people thought about the idea and will dark grey just look like blocks ?

That's what I was thinking !! you rarely see the two at the same time anyway (wheels and exhaust) I mean !! I prefer 172 wheels but just haven't seen them against LY before.

Get your 182 wheels refurbished in anthracite.

Not a fan of 172 wheels personally.

Yeah I agree get your 182 wheels refurb'd in a nice anthracite. Look at a few darker shades than the Renault anthracite. There's some nice Honda paints that look good (like mine lol)

I'd get some 172 wheels, think they are decent looking, plus it'll be different. In a fresh silver or anthracite I reckon

There's a couple of sets for sale on eBay at the moment mate.

There's also a set of Turinis on there too for a good price.

I've got a set of 172 wheels that are in need of a refurb. Only want £100 for them.

All straight and currently on my car, a set came up ready refurbed be I couldn't turn them down!

Think black wheels suit liquid yellow. As for 172 wheel i don't think it would look right, I would refurb you current wheels.

I think 172 wheels look worse than 182 ones. Do you 182 ones the cup/grey colour

Would be interesting to see 172 wheels on a 182. I actually prefer the 172 wheels (never liked the others). I'd do them in an anthracite colour or bright silver, not black tbh. Alternatively some turinis or something spoked in white could look good!

I had some on my 1.2 and thought they looked good. I think bright fresh silver against LY would look fine
