  2003 clio sport 172
I have a 2003 172 with 36000 on the clock, What increase should i expect with a Panel filter and a K tec stealth???
I had a Mk2 astra GTE 16V with a Janspeed and a K&N and had 162 at the fly wheel, and that was 11 years ago!!!!

So explain why it would loose power as people say the origional exhaust are rubbish!!!
Even though K-Tec sounds great throaty at low revs and raspy round the top end!

There rubbish cos they fall apart, not because of the design.

Lol, it wouldnt lose power.

The ktec's are quite free flowing, would definately be more responsive.
If its a mk1 stealth, they dont fall apart, but when lowering the car you can have problems, as bend over the axle isnt very big, and can scrape.
Other than that, good exhausts though.

Panel filter is a good mod too, better than induction kits imo.

Id say 5 bhp.

Most components are only made to last for a short period of time nowadays, otherwise how would they be able to make money on parts.
Recycled parts which nearly everthing is seem to be of poor quality.
Friends of the earth and all that:rolleyes:
