So the time has come to update my insurance. £850 from Admiral full comp on a Mulicar with my parents. 21, 2yrs No Claims. Just phoned Flux and its £2000+ Are there any other decent companys that may be able to compare to Admirals quote? If not think Ima stick it out with them.

Seems quite cheap with admiral, wouldn't imagine you'd get that down further.

Im 21 with 3 years NCB and fully comp I'm £1000 with bell insurance.

when they rang me offering the multicar i said 'knock £3-400 off my quote and ill take the policy out'

Same as you however £650 with adrian flux, all mods declared with an allowance of upto 200bhp for the clio (it can only dream)

Me too and I'm also 21. The Adrian Flux guy laughed at me over the phone when I told him I got a quote from elsewhere(Brentacre)well under the 1k mark. The price you have posted though is a brilliant price.

Even if they are slightly more expensive than you have been quoted I would say it worth it for mods being declared at no extra charge.

insurance remains unbelievable on these little hot hatches for me!
mine shot up to £1300 in this years quote ffs,thats with the wife on.
so much dearer than my last e46 330ci.

our other car,golf gt tdi,with me on the wifes policy,is with direct line,so tried them after that quote
and were back down to £410 with protected ncb.

cant believe the hikes from one year to the next with the same company when direct line can do it so much cheaper.

Age 19 or over with 2 years driving experience for TPFT Cover (car value -£5k)

Age 21 or over with 2 years driving experience for Fully Comprehensive Cover (car value +£1500)

FYI guys, with regards to the 'unlimited mods' insurers, this is just a clever marketing ploy, you'll find most specialists will offer you something similar, eg, let the insurer know your planned mods at the quotation stage and then say they will be fitted during that year's policy, you can usually then add them free of charge. Most specialists will add cosmetic modifications free of charge as well, but again, disclose these at quotation stage even if they are future planned changes.

Yeah I can very much imagine they increase the price for known mods that will be done, my bonus was that most of my mods have been done after the Policy was taken out

Sky insurance for me 27 5years ncb £600 for my 172. Easily been the cheapest year after year and when I do get a cheap quote(usually from brentacre) they match the price for me so no complaints from them, also very helpful on the phone

Did a rough quote with you guys on your site last night and it was £1600 :/ need to give you a call when I get the chance, been training all day.

I'm 28, 10 years PNCB, 1 writeoff (my fault) and 3 points. The 197's previous term was £901 with Flux, their renewal came through at £1490 - this after being with them for 7 years and them always managing to beat any other quote.

The cheapest by far were Sky Insurance, with the added advantage of awesome customer service. In fact I spent 30 minutes on the phone chatting to the guy about R26s - definitely recommended.
