Three weeks ago I was the owner of a Z3 3.0 & a 330ci. Short story, got a bit bored & wanted to free up some money, so got rid and bought an MX5 mk3 and my third 182. Loved both of the first cars but fancied a change, as you do. First two were BG:

Wasn’t in too much of a rush to buy after finding and buying an MX5, but saw this on CS and was interested:

Spec was as follows:
65000 miles
All belts changed 55k miles @ 519 Automotive
KTR induction kit
KTR HT leads
Matched inlets
Catcams 438 Package with remap performed by 519 automotive (apparently 193bhp on rollers although no printout to prove)
Gearbox- Powerflex dogbone mount
Tyres- pirlli p zero all round
Exhaust- Orbisound system with sports cat
Cooksport springs
Kenwood cd player with Bluetooth
I went to have a look, seemed to be fairly honest so I bought it. There were a few things I wanted to sought straight away so over the past two weeks have done the following:
De-stickered & removed HEKO deflectors (for sale)
New plates front and rear (front slightly smaller to fit recess)
Skoda splitter
Turini’s refurbed in silver
New style RS badge
Flat blade wipers
As it stands now:

Bad points:
Bodywork is in quite poor condition really. There are quite a few chips all round and 5 or 6 dents. And some undertray fell off at speed on the other day smashing to bits. I looked underneath and there appears to be nothing left. So I’ll replace that.
I must admit I love it so far, the best bit being it’s now quite innocent looking, but floor it and with the exhaust/induction it’s pretty unsocial. Ha, I will grow up soon. And a quick one if its new stable mate:
