182 Computer Self Test

If you turn the ignition key with the button pressed in, the button which changes the computer trip (total miles, miles left until you need to fuel) it does a self test.

Whe its carrying out the self test if you press the computer button again then it shows you how many litres you have left if your tank, is it possible to change the normal screen which shows you how many gallons you have used, so it shows litres instead.

Yep any clio with a trip computer can do this, puts the dash into diagnostic mode.
Don't think there is a way to change what the trip comp displays normally.

also when the test started all the display lit up and i seen a spanner. This is for the serviceing but i don't think they work. My brother has a megane 255 and his flashes when its due a service. Is it possible to enable this or does it just not work.

The SERv light on a Clio just means there an issue and its needs cheaking not that a service is needed.

yes i know the SERV light means there is something wrong with the car. But when you do the self test. At the top left had side there is a spanner. My brothers Megane 225 has a spanner that flashes when a service is due. This feature is obviously not available on the clio but its there (the spanner) just in case they wanted to bring it in i suppose.
