182 Engine Cover Bolts

Toss pots at Sunwin Derby left two of the four bolts off my engine cover whilst replacing the temp sensor a few months ago and only just noticed it when cleaning the engine bay. So, any idea where I can get them besides actually having to go down and ask the retards at renault??

There's a place in Bristol called GR FASTENERS & ENGINEERING SUPPLIES. But as your in Derby guess you don't want to travel down here. Just take one of the other bolts down to a simular place and they will match it.

It'll probably be hard to get a matching pair - they're Torx and plated with a black coating. There's also two different lengths used- long ones up the back and short ones at the front- have you got one of each length?

you could get some gratis from scrap yard, they use the same bolts on ford escorts, and probably a lot of other cars too, i found some in my shed when a mechanic lost a couple of mine and they fitted no problems, they are the same too.
