182 Exhaust Manifold Upgrade

Hey Guys

Looking around and saw this on eBay, Just wondering if anyone has tried one etc.

Says it can improve housepower by 7-15bhp, Not sure if the houses are stronger than horses.

Joking aside though it's a 421 manifold like the 182's but would it offer any gains or sound value.

That particular type is a horrifically fitting POS by all accounts.

I fitted a genuine 182 manifold and decat and tbh it makes almost no difference to anything! Not worth the effort on a 172. To fit that to a 182 would lose you power!

They are on the pure motorsport website mate. On phone so not got link handy but a google will find them.

As for the specific gains, we haven't used one before and have done no back to back testing so its a leap of faith for us.

Its going on a slightly different spec engine to last time so its going to be hard to know how much influence the manifold has had sadly mate.
