182 front brake suggestions?

Now, I would go for the big brake kit if one could be found for a reasonable price - any ideas?

Failling that I plan to change the discs for maybe some Brembo HC ones, any others of equal standing?

Then come the pads, got Mintex Extremes at present and happy with them, they are just nearing then end of their life - decent replacements or stick with them??

Fast road use with occasional track a possibility.

Muchos gracias! :)

think wiliwood are the cheapest 4 pot kit.

the usual ds2500. No complaints with mine. If funds allow, pagids blues. Think discs are much of a muchness really. Not going to make much difference. HC over max I gather.

K-Tec do a good deal on Brembo HC and DS2500 pads in the Cliosport hidden area. I think the DS2500 is the best you can do without a lot of nasty dust.

Just seen the K-Tec deal now, seems like a good option!

What kind of price are wilwoods?

Yeah I think 4pots will be over kill for what is predominantly a road car.

Is changing the lines relatively straight forward? I'm just checking the guide on here now.

Ok cool, thanks for the advice/info.

Think I'm going to get the K-Tec kit with lines ordered. Just being reading up how to bleed the brakes too once it's all fitted.

I've got Mintex Extreme pads up front Lee and have been happy with them so far :)

Ordered the Brembo Max HC discs and Goodridge lines, now just need to decide on a set of pads.
Have looked at the DS2500 but they seem a little pricey for what I need, what's a decent alternative? Greenstuff seem to come well recommended on various sites!?

Most people use a Dot 4 fluid as they last longer and the race dot 4 fluids can normally withstand higher temperatures. A quick search should give you the needed info on what fluid to get.
