182 look ktr ktec exhaust on my 172 cup

finally iv fitted my 182 ktec exhaust without the need of buying a 182 rear bumper...the garage charged £80 including fitting, cutting the pot holes, and spraying the trim on the holes black (i got them in red).

Your left tail pipe seems like its pointing upwards? Might need bending back down a bit so it sits straight!

Looks ace.

But the left pipe is facing up and right is facing slightly down.
Id say the left one is defective!

Are they adjustable?...if not id be unhappy with the finish. (should be welded straight)

iirc the one on the right is adjustable right to left and up and down. Looks like a good job maz, alot quicker than finding a bumper anyway

for sum reason it only looks bent the pics, not in real life. the right pipe is alot longer then the left & is held but only one rubber, Il try giving abit of suppport with a coathanger wire, rap it around the rubber or sumthing. My mates have cum & hav a look at the job & said its fine...

atleast the bumper aint bent, that wud of been a nightmare

I agree with Munz_Clio.

maz172...I think you need to take a closer look.

Hate to say it mate, but it does look a little off and bent. A few of us have said it...so it must be.

I know you're saying its ok in real life... but its bent as clear as day!!!

Try again mate, I really wouldnt be happy with that work...

I have had my bumper cut for an exhaust and it is spot on... your just isnt...

agree with that, in the picture as we look at it, the right tail pipe is facing down as it touching the bumper. needs adjusting

if you say its adjustable then you should be able to do it

probably. The plastic lips are quite flexible.

iv been for few long drives with the new exshust, i can say the car is alot faster now, but is very quite, so its only engine roar now.
I notice the right tale pipe knocks alittle aganist the spare wheel area, is there any thing i can do?
