182 manifold.. Anyone came across this??

Basically, it looks as though the flange where the manifold bolts to the cat, the holes where the bolts go through have corroded and enlarged enough to let one of them pull through? I always thought the manifolds were made out of fairy decent steel!? Never seen one like that before.. If so what have your fixes been as obviously that bolt has to swivel a bit? I'm sure I'll work something out when I get under it properly but after ideas!

new gasket kit needed. Those bits are pressed in and hammer out, included in the kit. They all rot away quite frequently

Oh are they!! Never noticed that before, that's actually a good idea on renaults part!
Top man.. Can stop worrying then, provided the other side don't fall out before I can get round to doing it lol

Mine was fucked, like the picture also, get a new kit fitted mate and you'll be sorted.
