Hi there!

Since I got my car, its had a K 'n' N cone filter fitted.

Now I want to take it off and replace it with the standard air box.

I just need a bit a help!

(please excuse, i am completely not machanically minded) :dapprove:

On the standard box there are three holes.....
  • One of them gets attached to the 'enigine'
  • The hole closest to the front of the car when fitted, is a cold air feed.
  • And the third has got a pipe already attahced to the air box (which looks like a CAF) but i am unsure what it is and where about it goes from the air box.
Thanks for any help :)

I don't have a picture, but the one with the pipe already attached is fitted on the underside of the airbox, and runs under the airbox straight to the front of the car behind the passenger headlight.

The other hole is run behind the same headlight but down the the horn.

the pipe doesn't seem long enough to reach to the heas light.

is that not for a ph1 172?
