182 Wheels On PH1 172.

Two weeks ago I returned to 172 ownership and the biggest cosmetic issue with my purchase was the wheels. The Oz F1's were curbed and paint had come away in several areas on all of the wheels, so I thought I'd buy these 182 wheels.

When I fitted them about a week ago I didn't think they suited the car, I'd seen pics of them on phase 1's before and always generated mixed opinions. But they have grown on me and I do quite like them now.

She needs a good clean, but it just seems pointless in this weather!

looks ok prefer oz f1s though

Yeh so do I, but atleast this meant I could get them off the car and refurbed. They came with near new Toyo Proxes so it seems sensible to stick with the Oz's aswell, not too keen on the prices of 16inch tyres either.

I thought I'd go for something abit different, and chose red! Picked them up this morning and am really impressed with the finish.

I fancied red f1's but i got them done black instead. I always quite liked the 182 wheels on a ph1, but i think it needs to be a bit lower

I did nearly bottle it and get black at the last minute.

Give me chance, lowering is next on the list.

The Ph1 looks sooooooo much better with standard rims, the 182 rims just make it look like a 1.2 trying to be a sport rep.

Ph2 lights on the other hand are a must.

I think if you go all the way and put a ph2 bumper on with lights then fair enough. But i had just ph2 lights on my last ph1 172 and don't think it really improved the back end.
