182FF seats - can I try yours?

My recently-acquired 182 came with beautiful Recaro PPs which are like works of art, but I can't get comfortable in them.

I'm eyeing up Sportsters and Trendlines, but wondering if going to 182 FF OEM seats might be an option. However, I'm put off by reports about the high driving position.

Would there be a forum member with 182 FF OEM seats who might be willing to let me sit in their car? I'm in NW London but willing to travel within reason.

OEM seats are way more comfortable than Trendlines or Sportsters IMO but they will sit slightly higher. Anything will feel like a huge jump up after those Poles.

you can remove the washers from under them to give a little drop in seat height, but it’s not much.

How tall are you? With the standard seats I was hitting my head on the headlining, with trendlines on low mounts I've got tons of room and a lot more support. Wouldn't say they're uncomfortable, but after more than a couple of hours in the car you definitely want to get out.

5'9" but with unusually short legs. My upper body is comparable to the average 6'3" male and my legs are comparable to someone 5'2".

Sitting too high isn't just an issue of head hitting roof, but if the seat cushion is too high I can't get comfortable reaching pedals given silly short legs.
