197 wheel in a 182

Is this do able?

I prefur the 197 wheel and with all of the CC issues (which i would like to retain and keep oem) i think it would be a good upgrade?

Anyone got any info/pics?

knowing renault they have purposly changed it so it will not fit older models.

197 steering wheel in a 182

Thanks Craig I was informed by Middo on Saturday that a few of the French owners have done the conversion so it IS possible. Its a shame the wheels are 100+ on ebay as id have liked to have had a nosey at one too see how they compare

Could you take a couple pictures of the connections etc please mate when you do? I persume the Cruise control buttons etc should be simple to rig up... We shall see!

My thinking exactly lol. I dont think they do! They also LOOK smaller aswell and i also like the line down the top of it. Rally car esque!

Even if they do fall apart, they're a 6th of the cost of 1*2 wheels.
