200 Raider v 5GT Turbo

  PB Clio 172
I agree that is should be raider blue or dont bother

as for the williams I still dont see the big deal, I had the 16v and was a cracking car, 10bhp less for over a grand and a half less! I know its a different engine and all that but really for that amount of HP there is no point in wasting your money, also if you had a williams blue(colour) 16v you are driving one really !

Not quite the williams had an extra 10% power and 200more cc...
Along with the usual ltd edn extras.

I ment Renault got greedy with the Williams models too as originally there was only the 500 Williams Clio produced and told customers these were a one off then they went and brought out the 2 & 3. I'm sure the buyers of the first Williams were a bit pissed after hearing this.

Well, there really are quite a few more differences between Williams and the 16v. You say it's just 10bhp - but the power delivery is much better. It also has a lower red line and shorter ratios, it has different suspension, a wider track, lighter wheels, specific paint, changed interior - it's almost a different car. In fact, the only thing the same is the look bar the colour.

That's not bad, good to keep it running. I need to get my finger out and get mine back in the road it's been sat in my brothers garage for not far off a year :(.

I don't really get it, in this thread someone said the Renault 5 Raider wasn't any different engine wise, just a few cosmetic changes.
Isn't this exactly the same thing as the 200 Raider? Yet one is "really special" the other is "pointless" ?

In 10/20 years time will people be saying the same about the 200 Raider as they are now about the R5 Raider?

Or am I missing something..

This x100. How does blue paint and wheels make an existing car achieve OMG legend status?

Booooooooom!

The irony in this thread is mental.

They didn't give the name to a bad car. The 200 is the best car in it's class.

It made Evos car of the year on release and was up against some mental metal. The R5 was provably the same.

Same car same options different era.
