2002 4-Door 1.4 MK2 Phase2 to 172 conversion

Hi all,

i own a 2002 4-door 1.4 Mk2 Phase 2 Clio in hong kong,
since the 172 donor car is very cheap in hong kong now,
i'm planning if i can convert my car engine in order to get better performance,

i had read the posts here,
they said 172 Engine conversion needs the followings:

172 Engine
dash wiring loom
engine wiring loom
UCH
ECU
decoder ring
key

I would like to ask if i get a Mk2 phase 2 172 Parts from a donor car,
do i need to change all wirings?? including the dash??

Also how about gear-box, Clutch, Exhaust system? Do i have to change these?

Any ppl can advise me? Thanks

if i was you i would change gearbox etc as im not sure the 1.4 box would match the 2.0l ??? but im not sure

i only know my 1.4 Dynamique engine bay is the same as 172's

In Hong Kong, buy a 2nd hand 172 (good condition but probably crashed before, have to worry about unknown problems) needs HK$50k (milage over 70000Km)

But if i try to find a donor 172, (Milage below 10000Km), i think it won't cost more than HK$20k, labour won't exist HK$15k...

I'm thinking to upgrade my car (never crashed) as I can keep my clio back
