I wouldnt worry about buying it personally, just would want to pay closer to 10k. Its desirable spec. I think there where circa 50 cars with the recaros.

Th exhaust was done by Urban Racing in warrington, and looked a top job to fair. If it owes them 10k then your not likley to get it cheaper than 10.5k. The recaros do fetch a premium and not everyone wants a trophy for a variety of reasons.

Agreed, I think with a few subtle negotiations, I could get them down to 10.5k, provided the finance is approved. I will definately push the engine cover issue, then try to wangle some free or extra tax etc. At the end of the day, if they want to get rid, they will negotiate. Then again, they are taking the K.A in px for exactly what I paid for it 3 weeks ago,so I can't really complain there.:approve:

Just depends what they are giving you for the PX and as to whether it is a reasonable trade value... dont forget they will likey auction the KA.

I'm in agreement with Maz,you're getting absolutely raped if you decide to pay 11k or even 10.5k. Just buy another black/gold 182 for around 8-9k and buy the recaros aftermarket.

Dunno yet, hoping for at least 2k. Just got back from work, waited all day for the call to see if the finance has been approved or not, but no news yet. Will visit the garage tomorrow to find out whats happening.

to give you an idea, i paid £9K for my 182 with Recaros, July 05 plate, had 9K miles on , mint condition with front splitter, all be it minus the cup packs. 11k is way too much.

It's avery nice car with all the right options, but as said it is overpriced. I'd be looking at a maximum of 10K with your part ex. Phone them and negotiate now!

It's a buyers market with so many about going for great prices!

£7.5 for the 182 + £2k trade in = Total price paid £9.5k

They will be making money off the finance if you are taking it out with them and like Ste said Ben only paid £10k for the car when he bought it

dealers charge that round my way they have a silver cupped 55 plate up for 11

go on ebay they seam to sell them for £2.50 on there

at the end of the day a car is only worth what someone will pay

when ever i sell my cars i always see the same car cheaper and more expencive than what i want for mine

dealers are always going to be more on reanult uk dealers website there are some up for over 11

Hes already stated that he needs to finance it. Hence no option to be able to buy private so will be a forecourt price.

No point comparing cars missing cup packs or without recaros. For those who want to fit aftermarket recaros then it is 1.5k to do it properly!

Brooko I would guess you got a good bargain if you paid a lot less 9k mate.

The rear wing has been repaired on it and the finish wasnt 100%, iirc but as long your happy with it. It has been well looked after and is a 1 owner car.

In your situaition Wirral if they give you what you want for the PX and the finance payment is ok for you then. 10.5k will be a fair deal.

No ones getting it for less than 10k, unless they made a fortune on the elise the guy bought. Garages are there to make money.

Had a little chat with the salesman yesterday, 10.5k, without the KA as PX . The stripes and small rear right wing ding will be removed / repaired before collection. My credit rating is rather good considering my circumstances. Just need to get rid of the KA privately now, rather than use it for the PX. Hopefully collect the 182 tomorrow or later sometime this week.

Check out the for sale section later tonight if you are interested in buying my KA as a cheap runabout, as I have no need for 2 cars.

just looking around at 182 to buy..9.5k gets you a good ff low milage (13-17 k 05 plate..private sale/ garages will want 10plus..

Top car for the money..you pays your money and takes ya choice..

do check tyres thou..they could set you back another 200quid
