As ClioSport reaches its 25th Anniversary, we are launching this section to contain threads looking back over memories and significant moments from those 25 years.

If you have any memorable moments from the last 25 years, even better if you have photos or videos to go with them, then please post up in here. It could be a memorable national meet, local area meet, Christmas night out, or just a golden forum thread that you've managed to find.

I was 4 years old when this forum was conceived

My takeaways from this place are the friends I have made. Any other time, I would have never crossed paths as they're old enough to be my dad (some are older than my dad)

Ultimately the clique has probably saved me from self-destruction. I honestly think I may have drunk myself to death during lockdown if it wasn't for a select few mates from here

What most people don't know is the whip round money kept the bailiffs at bay long enough to setup payment plans and agreements meaning we didn't lose the family home,

My mum and I would have been homeless without this club.

@Scrooge is one of my best mates and was usher (peace up, A town down etc) at my wedding.

Incredible achievement, well done to everyone behind the scenes that keeps it going and the nice people on the forum. It’s my second time around with a Clio and cliosport after a 12 year gap and I don’t plan on having another gap until I die.

I think its pretty amazing how people have been on here so long even thou most not owned a clio in years but still stay active on here.

Reading old posts threads about how your life there life was then to now.
Highs and lows.

Especially since most forums are dead as f**k and everything gone over to face ache etc.

Just like a big whatsapp group full of good banter but also people who will always helps the best they can with anything in anyway they can if needed.

I'll never forget how the community rallied round when my 172 Cup was stolen from my driveway.

I'd had it 5 years at that point and it' was as good as part of my family so, all emotional, I set to making a video so I could remember it forever.

Turns out it was found 48 hours later parked up 1/2 mile away and we had many more happy miles, trackdays, and not so happy breakdowns.

There's a lot of 2003-2008 events included in here if you've never seen this, uploaded to YouTube 17 years ago!

Yeah I've looked back, MOFO got a free PS3 by signing up to £500 phone contract. And asked people to photoshop his payslips

It’s amazing how Rhys’s style would go on to influence 1000’s of Just Stop Oil protesters 10 years later.
