Ok, so long time no thread update. Thats on me not the very , very nice gents over at SeriouslyLotus. I went on holiday ( lovely thanks! ) , went to CSF ( fantastic ) and went to see friends in Wales ( awesome ). I also found time to organise the garage a bit more
That car is now back with a replaced actuator, done correctly. It feels so urgent when you put your foot down now. Its like a grenade has gone off behind it. We did a dyno pull on SeriouslyLotus hub dyno and a very generous Dave logged the data for me and sent it me. The peak boost was roughly in the same ballpark as back in May pulling 8.11psi peak on the hub dyno. I 100% did not use a slip road tonight to validate again and made 8.37psi peak.
Peak is just that though - the most. The average over the WOT pulls is up on all months but May. However its hard to work out quite why as the run I did tonight was 48mi of motorway with the odd full pull. the hub dyno yesterday was a couple of pulls.
FWIW I can see the car is running richer than it was in May. Is that due to the boost or just needs refining a bit more now that we have a working actuator on. So many variables!
The only real way to tell is by getting it map tweaked. So thats whats happening on Tuesday.
