They are different wheels to when it has been done before though, well slightly.
I am thinking about coilovers, but the splitter would have to come off for a smaller one, catched on some speed bumps as it is (lowered on Sportlines).
Are you on coilys Salty? Like I said if I opted for them, I'd have to get a smaller splitter. You can get a smaller 307 one, less than half the thickness I think.

i was nailing it down the lane to my gf's house and as id been driving the van for 2 weeks, i forgot to slow down for the cattle grid lol. id get another cupra one but the only seat dealer round here has closed so time for something else.
the cupra one looks good though. splitters on the ph1 finish the front end IMO, its about an inch too high compared to the sills
looks good mate (or did lol) Thats how mine sits now, theres no way i'd be able to go anywhere with it..not that i'm fussed like. Coilovers are mucho worth it!
No I havn't got a link to the smaller one, couldn't find one on ebay. Think you'd have to go to the stealers for it. I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere with the part numbers.
307 splitters off ebay are the larger Pug ones, I bought one for my 172 Ph2 but ended up taking the f*cker off as it kept catching on everything, even though Im only lowered on sportlines!
Smaller 307's are cool but I went for a small meggy one in the end - might be worth considering?
I like the look of the larger 307 splitter though. I'm on Sportlines too and generally it's ok, just the odd speed bump I encounter that i've got to be careful over and I can't park on the upper tier of the gym carpark as it scrapes on the ramp regardless of speed.
Im lowered 30mm and the K-Tec Carbonfibre one is OK but its rigid so instead of flexing its likely to snap.
I think I prefer the 307 one anyway... what you think?!
I dont live there anymore but it shows the splitter on the car.
