5 turbo problem - update!!

ok, thanks to all those who replied to help me the other day about my 5 turbo problem... it was hesitating when turbo was spooling up etc...

anyway, i changed the rotor arm, dizzy cap, and HT leads and its running like a dream again !! .. well pleased...

Chances are, you only needed to clean the HT leads connections...and wipe over the spark plugs.. rather than buy all new parts?

I read on the rtoc forum someone managed to check with the DVLA and theres only 3500 or so r5 turbos left on the road in UK... certainly getting rarer and probably more valuable for minters...

Bought mine totally standard 1 owner from new, not gonna mod it, keeping it the way it came out the factory... I hate looking at these body-kitted butchered smokey 5 turbos.. good way to ruin a good car...

i was pushing 170 bhp ATWs but ive put a new standard engine in and turned the boost down to a sensible 15 psi.
