52 Clio DCI, No glow plug light

Morning guys, yes its 7am, and the wifes about to go to work and has woke me up because when she turns the key to the ignition the glow plug light doesnt come on... Which means when she turns it further to start it, it chugs for a long time before it will fire up... The thing is, if she turns it back to the off position for about a minute and turns the key again the light will come on and starts up fine...
Any ideas?

heater plug relay check it for bad conections.

also check the battery.

where would i find the heather plug relay?

thing is i can go away for 10 minutes and come back and flick the key and it will start like nothing was ever wrong

Its on the passenger side of the engine bay under the plastic cover.

Il have a looksie at that, what do you guys think? just a connection that needs cleaning up?
