54 plate 182 high pitched buzzing interior at (high) speed

Car  Clio 182
Hi all, wondered if anyone had a similar problem...

I have a high pitched buzzing sound coming from the interior light panel. The noise only appears at highish speeds, and gently pushing the panel into the roof stops the noise, removing the pressure brings the noise back. Slowing down stops it too :boring:

My guess is that it's something within the panel resonating. i've done a search on here for similar problems and it seems a lot of us have/had buzzing sounds - usually the fan in the temperature sensor for the a/c or c/c which is housed in the light panel...i found a great thread with a cracking video for how to access, remove, refurb and refit said temp sensor.

Followed the video and found a completely different sensor (prob same job but very different in size and shape)...didn't have space for a fan as with the video'd example...

anyone got any ideas or had a similar problem?

cheers

*bump* now with a picture to show what I mean - black lump with wires, different model of sensor from that shown in the video (presume it does the same job, but an updated version?) - anyone recognise it/able to identify? is this likely to cause the same issue (buzzing sound) as the other temp sensor?

any help really appreciated, cheers.
