Are you the only person in the world who insulates his house roof instead of the loft floor so that his loft is toasty warm?
That'd be a pretty expensive heating bill lol

you cant just insulate between roof joist's because airflow has to be maintained.

It's the header tank.

Convert it to a sealed system.
Drain down the heating circuit, pipe in an expansion vessel, pressure relief valve/gauge, filling loop and you're away.
It really is simple, and IMO you'd benefit in the long run, not only for the space saving but it's a more modern system, easier to keep an eye on for leaks etc.

Cinema room is great btw! Wish I had an old projector knocking about lol
