A Few questions about valvers.

At the beginning of september I will have a maximum of £1500 to spend on a valver. Do you think that it will be possible to get a fairly low mileage and good condition car for that money?
Also could someone conffirm the specs that I have been told please.

137BHP as standard
7.7s to 60mph
Top speed 130mph.

Final question! what sort of torque does a valver put out as standard?

I think so personally.Went with a mate to look at one for him recently.He bought it and it was in pretty good nick....had 72k on the clock. Just check its been serviced etc, also having had 2 valvers id say check coolant.....that its nice and clean and that the engine bay isnt stained orange etc from leaks, and if you go on as test drive get it warm.....see how it copes and watch temp gauges.

i loved both my vavlers.....FUN, and if it wasnt for age id have another one over a newer clio any day.
