Just thought I would share a few pics of where the new clio is upto..
Will do a full blog but a few cheaky snaps of where its at now... aiming for a bawls out 240hp 180 lbft NA track/fast road beast!
Needs to be done for FCS in 8 weeks. Owtch. All the work is DIY bar the BE build. So go easy lol.
The cage is only about 70% in still needs door bars on, harness bar, main hop support etc but the fit was s**t, took me 40 hours and 12 cans of gas, 5 grinding discs and a huge sheet of 3mm steel. f**k knows why OMP give you mounting brackets as they dont even fit! I couldn't use a single one so had to fab them all, plus the cage was too short all over leaving a 3" gap between the bars and roof etc so had to make front and rear feet to accommodate for that.
Got s**t loads of parts that i just dont have pics of yet etc like the ledas, new discss, pads, harnesses, engine bits etc......
but comments welcome...go easy though! its not even 20% done!
