AAS custom exhaust....and De-cat update *22-01-11*

Finally after been on the waiting list for 8 weeks ive had my exaust fitted, brilliant service and would recomend anyone to go ther
i decided on a 3" inroled straight cut, noise isnt that much louder than standard but has a nice sound if i put the peddle down

Sweet glad you like it - makes a nice after-burble when you take your foot off the pedal, you will notice it is louder at motorway speeds (80+ ish)
mine after nearly a year of being fitted (2.5" Slash cut)still cleans up well

Gives you a warm feeling when you view the car from behind and see one central silencer - maybe thats just me :eek:

Looks nice and subtle.

Thats alot for the exhaust, didnt realise that AAS were so in demand for such a long waiting list. Havn't heard of them before.

Feel any difference power wise?

Love it mate class isnt it, urs looks mint.only thing i nee tho is
to ask for a new clamp for the pipe to the cat coz
my original one has been used and is slightly blowing, going back up in the morning anyway coz my mates getin his done,
is urs not to loud aswell?

Supose it is a lot but then again a off the shelf system would be 350 ish plus fitting ect, its good bein able to pick what you want with AAS, yea mate busy all year round, very popular eapeshaly up here

yea i did actualy, a lot more responsive now and seems to fly through the revs
smoother and quicker, dont reli drive it fast normaly but as its new
i gave it a go lol, took my dad out jus a bit a go and he thought it was fast as
f**k lol, he dus drive a fiesta though lol

Not a loud one just a bit more of a nice rumble over the standard one with a lower note to it - not a fan of the you can hear it but have to wait ten minutes before you see the car type exhaust. Still got a centre silencer aswell bit more difficult to clean (need long arms)
I also found my fuel economy improved as well on motorways

Yea mines got a box in the middle but
they said its 2 boxes built into one, its a
nice sound can tell its not the standard system when you put youre foot down but not in a tacky way

the original sounded raspy when you put your foot down - love the over run sound on these though

Yea defo, my standard system had been blowing
for months, sounded crap and unhealthy, jus need to gt them to check the clamp to the cat tomorow coz got a slight blow but
other than that im very happy

8 weeks!!!!! he must have been busy lol had a E46 track car with a E92 M3 V8 in, was making the manifolds for it. Exhaust looks good, you went for the same tips as me.

Dont forget your lifetime guarantee ;)

Exactly i, lifetime gaurantee is ideal isnt it! Lol i ther allways busy like arnt they, get some class cars in ther

Just popd back in while we dropd my mates 5 off to get done and theyv put a bit paste/ sealer around the clamp on the cat and tightened it up to stop the slight blow i had, theve also made me up some big washers for the rattley heat sheilds

People ask is it worth the money you can buy a one off the shelf for XXX, Well if you ever use AAS you will see that the Exhaust wont Rust, Rot, Snap, Fall off and it does fit with out rattles or bangs!

I have had two aftermarket exhausts on my clios, both were rubbish quality, dropped down in the bends and the tips even rusted, i wont mention any makes as its unfair.

£500 bargin! concidering every single bit of that exhaust is hand made even down too the flandges that they make

AAS dont like doing Decats for road cars.

Exhaust looks good nice to see you all have the back box the same way round as mine. Mines still good been on over 2 years now.

They wont do a decat anymore a law has changed and they dont want the risk of the fine

Update today, ive had a custom made decat pipe and what a difference it makes! Loud if i want it to be but has a nice sound to it and doesnt sound to loud during normal driving! Engine management light has cot come on :) well not yet anyway lol, hopefully it wont at all!
And driving you can deffo tell the Increase in power, so much smoother and much more responsive
