It was some Rov boat that was coming into the harbour as we were taking the pics.

It had Fugro on the side, thats all i noticed.

There was a big beast of a boat just to the left of us in those pics Ecka put up, it was called the Island Constructor and had a derrrick like structure on it.
Its maybe something to do with well intervention work :S

But there was cars and a skip etc along the side of it ruling out pics there and security chased us out as well as we weren't authorised to be in that part of the docks.

theyve clamped down on port security since 9/11.

a lot of new well stimulation vessels coming out at the moment and theyre getting bigger every time.

Im from Peterhead (30 miles north if your not sure) but im in aberdeen about 4 times a week. But saying that i havnt been out much recently... Hopefully in the next few weeks i will be!
