Aberdeenshire Country Drive

Tav

Car  Clio 197
I finished my 5 year stint at university last night at 22:00. It was an epic rush to get everything handed in for marking and very stressful. I always find the best way to unwind after a hand-in is to go for a drive the next day. I fuelled the Cup up and headed off towards Cairn o' Mount this afternoon. I managed to stop and take a few pictures on a wee old 4Mega Pixel pocket camera, enjoy...

First 4 pictures were taken about 15mins from the city center, last pictures are near the summit of Cairn o' Mount. Going to take a trip back up soon with a proper camera and a couple more cars.

cairn o mount is awesome!!! do it anytime i am heading south as its "more fun" than going to porty then south!

need to get me a proper car to enjoy the road though. cracking pics though.

Where's this? And i live in aberdeen! DOH!

I think i pass you most days too?! at the roundabout off great northen road?

cairn o mount is an awesome road when its dry.

my mum lives in banchory so i use it regularly

to get there head out towards banchory, head a left to get down to the park and head out that road, take a left about 5 miles down that road - think its signposter for fettercairn and laurencekirk.

be weary though, theres some big forestry lorries use that road, and its a tight squeeze

The Old Ph1 looks sweet mate :)

Aye its a ace road and yeah theres f**king forestry trucks and tractors pulling out etc and leaving mud everywhere and the odd pheasent too which dont help.

Grrr

P.s Congrats on Uni Tav, i forgot to say in my last post.

Lol

Not seen any trucks *touch wood* I'll give you a shout some time Richard, maybe worth a wee CS get together at the summit?

A gap in August? Just requires organising on an evening sometime surely? Bit impromptu...bring your car, some petrol and a camera, jobs a good 'un. No use doing it in the day time, can't drive anywhere without getting held up by boobs commuting.

Just waiting for it to fall off then I'll get a new one ordered, too much choice and too little to separate them. Hopefully once I get a job I'll have some more pennies to splash on the car :)
