Ph1 172 and Red 197
I have acquired a 172 rear beam and brakes to go on my 172 conversion which still has drums.
Major thing was getting the right abs rings and getting them off - new one on.
Well as I already have a beam with discs, thought I’d have a practice at getting the abs rings off.
Two different size flat blade drivers and about 30 seconds each, off they come. And that was on a rusty looking ph1 beam.
What was with people saying you need to heat it up, takes ages, they brake and are really soft. ppppfffffftttt!!!!
Took me longer to take the hub bolts off!! :rasp:
