ABS stopped working, any idea's??

  clio 200 F4Rt
On way home today had a guy in a Focus RS up me back side, so thought i would show him what for, heading for a roundabout i had to get on the brakes pretty hard, passenger side front totally locked, now ABS light is on!

when i pulled inot home the pads where squeeking like hell (which they didnt do before) so gonna investigate thos ein the morning!

Just open to idea's and suggestions before i get balls deep into it!

I'd bet either the wiring on the sensor or the ABS ring is damaged (in your case damaged/loose ABS ring most likly). Check the ABS ring is the same distacne from the teeth to the sensor in the hub. From memory its 0.5 to 1.3mm the distance should be.

It happened to me when my wheel chewed through the ABS sensor cable. Absolute b**ch to replace, cheaper to get a new hub. Dont mean to piss on your fire or owt.....

Blow torch the hub to heat it up so it expads give you some more space or drill the old sensor out

Sensors are £90!! Brought a second hand hub off 53 plate for £30 which was just as easy to change as spending half hour twatting the old sensor out!
