If the clutch holds ok i reckon 267 and similar torque on stock injector.
So what does that make it bhp per tonne? And importantly £ per bhp? Bet there isn’t much near it?
Well I think it’s great mate and hats off to you for pulling it off the way you have. We see people blow thousands ruining 1*2’s to make much less power. You just mosey on in with your 280hp twingo, you smashed together on your drive with a selection of parts bin spares. It’s absolutely genius! I now want one! Like really want one...in fact I now have a saved search for a twingoI need to get it on some scales really but I'm sure it was 950 to 980kg new, heavier engine now but a few bits missing too. Got to be close to 280/290ish bhp per tonne
I will tally up the cost later on today, the mishap with the box bumped the build cost up and mapping wasn't cheap but its properly cheap overall for the performance![]()
I am bloody tempted. Especially as Adey is only up the road from me really....need to get house builds out the way first!Theres a mk2 laguna GT up my way for £800 if anyone wants to copy! I viewed it when it was at £1600 and decided it was worth about £750 but didn't want to make the offer and get shot in the face. Been for sale for months.
Same as me, I pretty much have a twingo lined up. Just on the hunt for an engine and I like the idea of the diesel gearbox with taller gearing. Could Gloucester be full of 225 TwingosWell I think it’s great mate and hats off to you for pulling it off the way you have. We see people blow thousands ruining 1*2’s to make much less power.
