Advice on rear brakes - to buy, or not to buy?

Ok, so having failed its MOT yesterday, rather than arguing to Renault with a VOSA printout, I may just bite the bullet and replace the rear brakes on my 172 cup (tbf the pads are getting a bit low anyway)

Anyone had any experience with these? They seem very cheap, but considering how little work the rear brakes do anyway, would you say they'd be ok?

The cheapest I could find the Renault ones (on ebay) was £127 delivered.

I don't know what I'm more gutted about: the brakes or the kiss. Ha

I think I'm gonna stick with the mintex ones.

Take a look at jonny182's guide aswell some better pics in that one.

Tips I would say not much really pretty straight forward make sure you torque the hub nut to 175nm. Dry assemble too with the pads.

If the discs are hard coming off spin the disc and hit from behind, I used a copper/hide mallet. Also maybe a breaker bar to remove the 30mm nut.
