Aero Blade Conversion

Hi Guys,

Hope this is the right section!

Will be hopefully be getting a 182 with Cup packs in the not too distant future!

There are several subtle exterior and a few performance mods I have planned but am in no rush to start as I don't even have the car yet! But I am however creating a little wishlist

I had a quick look on google but couldn't find any information or and products for converting to 'Aero Wiperblades'?

If somebody could kindly point me in the right direction I can bookmark it for a later date!

Edit: I'm not even sure if a conversion kit is needed as they may well make Aero blades with standard fitments? Hopefully you guys know!

hi mate

when you buy the blades, the correct fitment bracket will be in the box with them, you get like 4 or 5 to choose from

they are full of win and no conversion kit needed. clip straight on.

Thanks for the replies lads.

I used to work for Halfords a few years ago when Aero blades first appeared. Back then conversion kits were needed for older cars but seems they've sorted themselves out now!

I got some from tesco for the ph1. They fitted ok, except I didn't clip one in properly and promptly found out on a big motorway roundabout in the pissing rain when it came off. Luckily it landed in the space between the screen and bonnet and I put it back on in a bus stop.

Basically just don't be a tool like me and make sure its clicked in properly.

If you do a search on the bay, there are plenty of cheap retro fit items.

I bought a pair for my VTR, I wasn't overly impressed with the performance, but they do look smart and very OEM.
