Goin going to be fitting cobra seats soon,do my question is do the seat belt clips that are fitted to the original seats come off and can they then be attactched to the floor or new subframe? I'll be buying harnesses pretty soon but just for the meantime I'd like to use the standard belts.

Yeah they can used.
Yea they come off really easily.
Just one big torx bolt attaching them onto the side of the mount. so as long as you have a hole on your new mounts you'll be fine.
Wires are a bit more complicated, on the driver side, you'll have the pretensioner connector + seat belt warning beep plug wire
passenger just the pretensioner connector.
