Amazing what a years no claims can do!

So to insure my 1.2 clio this year cost me £1600 with one of those crappy black boxes in. With 1 year of no claims i could insure this for £1,079 without a box!!!!

id hope so when the insurance is more than the car, i genuinely don't get it

The first year is a killer! I honestly don't know how I afforded to insure some of the cars I had when I was younger.. Plain stupid lol

My first car was a Citroen AX GT when I was 22 (15 yrs ago, gulp!) and it cost me £330 fully comp, which is obviously more in today's money, but nothing compared to what it costs today. Insane. I'd get the bus instead lol!

My first year was £1800, my second was £900. 1 year of no claims goes a long way.

Now back up to £1200 after a claim :dapprove:
