amount of thread from coilover to standard top mount

whilst fitting my coilovers today (KTEC ones if it makes a difference) i used the original top mount etc and after fitting, i have hardly any thread coming through the standard top mount, its through the top nut, but nothing like it was as standard, just want to know if this is ok

ive tried to get more thread through but it doesnt seem to be happening

are you doing the top mount up with an allen key in the centre of the threaded bit? if not it will just spin uselessly x

Yeah mate, there is no movement at all,
Since posting the thread ive checked a mates car with the same setup and his top mounts look exactly the same so im assuming its normal "/

ah right ok, could always try when you have the car jacked up? does the top mount not do up at all?
