I have a question about this 5k kick.
Is the power above 5k the same as before? I do not mean the kick, but the power.
Or is the power under 5k more and above 5k less, so it feel straight?
The so called "kick" is only when the cam timing is at an optimum for the air/fuel ratio being delivered and you dont always feel it. Its not like V-tec where you always get a serge of power.
If the MAP increases power, then thats all that counts it doesnt matter if you feel a "kick" or not.
It's a remap of the stock ecu, no additional units at all. The mods i make are all done by me specific to certain mods. I.e. we have files setup for Inlets etc etc.
I can change the mods if required to suit other mods.
We are currently awaiting our Dyno Dynamics dyno which is one of the most respected units on the market

If I sent you a 182 ecu, can you also unlock it in order to program that?
I bought a 2nd 182 ecu, but I was waiting for a good tuningfile. I doubt between the Fastchip one and yours. Do you know the differences?
Thanks

Just looked at the RStuning website figures, why is the 172 and 182 in PS, shouldn't the 172in BHP and the 182in PS ?!
I have my inlet ported, what will the best MAP at AWT be for me, or is it just best to decide when I get there?!
Is there no Renault tuners in Belgium Jesske? Is it not true that all the English tuner maps are derived from the one a Dutch tuner developed?
so i take it the stock ecu on the 172/182 is remappable then?
