Hi i have a very annoying slow coolant leak. Takes about 2/3 weeks for it to go from MAX to getting near MIN.
It leaks out the front corners depending in the angle i park, and having done further investigation the furthest up i can find it leaking is on the underside of the coolant hose at the front right corner of the car, theres a T section of pipe near the bottom of the radiator, below the air filter. Have taken the air filter box out and can't see anywhere it's coming from above the pipe.
Had it on ramps to get underneath and we were unable to get it to leak, although it does leak consistantly at home, maybe it didn't leak due to the angle of having the front up on ramps?
Just seems wierd that it's a slow leak in pressurised coolant, and tends to start leaking about 20/30 minutes after use (when cooling down).
Is there any known problems around the area? Or other causes of slow leaks that it may be running from that we can't see?
