Another ITB 182

so had abit of time today, decided that the clio is only my day off car so I would lose some weight from the rear, fronts will get done when I save some cash for some buckets. Everything was going smoothly untill I came across removing the top half of the rear seats, the bolts were welded in and for life in me couldnt get them out!! So took a trip to my local garage where they helped get them out for me.

I stopped at a weight bridge on the way home, the car has standard front half interior, the top half of the rear interior and half tank of fuel, total weight come in at 1020kg so now the top half of the seats are out I think it will be down to about 1010kg. Really like the stripped car feels alot better all round and the noise isn't bad at all, looking forward to loosing some more!

Also removed the rear wiper, worst job in the world but i like the look :)

I know man that would be amazing, there is still sooo much to remove from the front I think a good 60-70kg, I can feel the difference already, very impressed :)

Take the lumps of iron out from the engine bay, relocate the battery and get a race one. Moving my battery made a difference

Yea and a ride out in the clio haha I've seen your guide about relocating the battery but only had a quick scan did you move the ecu aswell? I can see that been abit of a pain with the wiring?

Yeah ecu has been moved, only temporally done though :S need to sort that this weekend. It's not that hard, most annoying part was putting the battery wire through the bulkhead.

I'm always on my phone when replying mate. I'll try and pop on comp later. Got my wiring, and battery box from Merlin, but eBay is cheap, and the cheapest odyssey 25 is on the bay ATM.
