another where to go for tracking thread

So today I thought I could fit my camber bolts and do the tracking at the same time. Booked in to ats and the car is too low for the sensors to take a reading, wtf . So anyone use anybody local to me? I'm based on the Wirral fifteen mins from liverpool. Cheers guys

I take it this is for your camber bolts?

if you have set your camber evenly you might be luck like i was and not need camber adjustment then alignment is £25, I think its £25 again for camber as well at protyre.

Locally Buckley tyres is 1 I would recommend over and over again. Great price to!

Buckley is a distance away mate. I get one day off, don't want to be trapsing round all over the show. May give protyre a buzz tomo. Be good to know if anyone from here has used them.

The reason I recommended them is they have the latest equipment which gives detailed printouts including castor etc.

its about 30 quid an adjustment, so 60 ish for tracking and camber.
as with any chain though its a lottery how good the person you get is at operating the very good equipment.

The Bristol one is excellent, had two different guys in there do ours recently and both spot on, the Weston one I had to talk them through half of it as they hadn't a clue. It's a lottery sadly.

wish I had their equipment but its too expensive unless you use it loads and loads.

Set the camber bolts to max yourself. Ask them to do tracking but say before they start can you see the full set of tracking/camber/caster figures first. Then you can decide if you need the camber doing or not. Sometimes the two sides are very similar and sometimes they aren't.

Precisely what I got Mick to do with my camber bolts, they were only slightly out and within the tolerance so I just left them.

certainly did pal! very happy with mine, love the ride height, and it seems to handle well, but its hard to say seens as i just put my winter tyres on before it went to him, so obviously i dont want to push it to hard, but i have give it some and it seems to like it! i say dont f**k about and get it back there, ( as you know ) that way you know it will be right and you wont have some random **** jockey apprentice f**king around with your car, and making a balls up of it, ats ftw
