Any one used this collection of mods??

If it was my money it'd be going on option two, but I think it'd cost more than £900 unless you get any of the parts second hand.

Isn't the Yozzasport exhaust the best part or more than £500? And the Maxogen around £350?

Yozzasport zorst is 450 odd fitted, cant find maxogen and have looked, and map is 300.

I have a budget of 9k so can pick up a trophy on 31k for 7800 so should have enough with some change.

K-tec sell the Maxogen £320ish + vat. Wouldn't you be better off buying a car with the mods already on?

Fair play - just re-read that you're after a Trophy, not so much choice about! I'd say that the Maxogen and the Yozzasport exhaust are your best option for that budget. As for the chip, I can't comment - but I'm looking myself at the moment for something suitable - I just can't help thinking that an off the shelf chip won't be the best match for my car and that a rolling road set up chip may be the better option, but again the £££ goes up!

RS tuning is well recommended for re maps, or fastchip method seems a popular choice.

I'm sure some of the people on here can help you decide which route to take.

most decent tuning companies have a base map which is then adjusted dependant on what modifications you have. so unless you've gone for cams theres no real need to pay the extra 200quid or so.

all maps seem to claim same gains so not going to pay unnecessary £££

Arent all maps done on a rr??? the k-tec one seems to be, this is the only map i would ever get installed so if not i will look else where.

RS Tuning have a rolling road to test their maps on, Paul can do you a before and after print out. Though he's in Leeds.

If you're in Middlesex, then yes, its far less distance to go to K-TEC.

And they are good, they know what they're on about.
