anyone had a Sportex Exhaust on their 172?

I need a cheap replacement for my track car, Cat Back and cheap.

This is actually cheaper than the renault system.

Oh, and sound for the advice on the mount, Mechanic packed it out with some washers like you said and its sweet as a nut now!!

fit was mint, didnt rattle or bang or anything! erm i'll try to find pics. mine went through the noise test at haynes, and the induction was always louder...

Mine sounded ok i thought...
Admittedly they do take a while to start sounding good, i.e about a week or 200ish miles.
