Applying wax

Got the day off on monday, so I'm hoping its gonna be dry so I can PC my car. I've just bought some SSR 2.5 and dodo juice purple haze. I've not used wax before, so any chance someone can give me an insight. Don't mean to sound a numpty but still pretty new to all this. Also does this order sound right:

hose down car (get rid of loose grit/dirt)
wash car with 2 bucket method
hose suds off car
clay entire car
wash car again using 2 bucket method
dry car
Apply SSR 2.5
polish with autoglym SRP
wax with purple haze
seal with megs #21

Do I still need to use megs #21 synthetic sealant after waxing??

As above, apply wax as thinly & evenly as possible. Probably best to use an applicator, although purple haze being a soft wax can be applied by hand. Remember what ever you buff off is just a waste of product. Apply another layer of wax 24hours later for best results.
