That is optimistic, don’t even expect a clean lap from meHey I’ll give it a go, but please expect an atrocious time 😂
I am shite at the ring. I just dont know the track well enough. Ill see what I can do. Expect it to be measured in hours rather than minutesCan we have a practice time set on the 'Ring with clear weather, midday and any assists declared?
Car to be the Dallara EXP (?) open top.
Open to anyone, but calling in the usual suspects. Off course, screenshot evidence of laptimes are required....

Well, finally managed a clean lap - but I had all assists on except stability control. Not a great time, but it's a start.

Video of the lap - from a recording so it doesn't have the flippin' time or HUD display!
Have you not set the types to be Optimal before you start the race, mate?Yeah, I am going to have to declare myself out. I struggle to even get the warm up lap done without writing the car off due to excess damage.
Tyres, FFS. Thanks autocorrect.....Have you not set the types to be Optimal before you start the race, mate?
Well impressive that with a pad - I simply cannot control any of the cars with a pad. Obviously, the steering is by far the hardest part, but I find the subtle changes on the brakes and throttle very difficult on a pad too.
Great time too!

I am about 7-8 seconds quicker with ideal line on.Maybe I should perhaps try a lap or two with the ideal line on?
I bet I'm WAY off on some corners of where I think I should be.
Yeah, that's a fair point... the racing line doesn't offer so much advantage after a few laps to get familiar with the circuit and handling.7.25 with just the racing line added.

Tbh, the racing line can give too many false negatives. Like the corner at Aremberg quickly goes red when approaching at speed, yet the Dallara EXP can easily handle that in 6th gear with the foot to the floor. Likewise, several other corners I don't actually brake on, but momentarily ease off before hitting the gas once again.
It's probably not too far off what I'd be capable of on here. I can definitely push more, but not feeding in the throttle gently has caught me out several times. If I managed to crack 7.20, I'd be well chuffed. I wonder if I can make 6th gear really tall?
